Cruising Elegance

Designed for all the comforts and luxury of 20th Century technology - Reef Escape(Dro Ki Dakau) is the ultimate South Pacific `destination experience' cruise ship.



Four elegantly appointed passenger decks, all open onto the outside deck with a choice of sunny and shady retreats. The spacious public areas give you total freedom to escape with a tall glass and a good book or enjoy the convivial company in the roomy lounge and bars. On desk there is a swimming pool, chart house, pool bar and plenty of sun lounges for hours of total relaxation. Inside, Reef Escape(Dro ki Cakau) offers an elegantly appointed lounge with cocktail bar and baby grand piano, dining saloon, reef room with conference and video facilities, spa, sauna, library, gift shop and 24 hour self service coffee bar.



And to fully experience the spectacular coral reefs and marine life, there is a glass bottom boat, snorkelling and dive equipment, onboard Dive Master and an embarkation platform with a lift from the water level to the main deck.



Tastes of Fiji

By day the dining saloon offers sumptuous breakfasts and luncheons combining international fare with the exotic tastes of Fiji. In the evening enjoy superb 3 course table d'hote dining with a different menu every night, prepared by international chefs. Savour the delights of a traditional `Lovo' feast where congenial native hosts share the bounty of village gardens, tropical fruits, suckling pig and seafood straight from the sea. Combined with al fresco luncheons, spicy curry tiffins and gourmets barbecues all to enjoy.



Romantic Island Nights

After dinner, there is a unique blend of cultural and international entertainment, including traditional island dances and music. The Captain's Dinner is the gala event with music, dancing and romance under the stars . When it is time to retire there is a choice of 60 air-conditioned staterooms and cabins all situated on the outside of the ship with spectacular floor to ceiling windows and private ensuite bathrooms.

Diving

Diving is available for holders of current Open Water Dive Certificates, which must be produced onboard, There is a nominal fee per dive, fully inclusive of onboard equipment.

Dining

The Dining Saloon is designed to accommodate all passengers at a single sitting. Breakfasts and luncheons are generally buffet with "free seating". Dinner is table d'hote with a different menu every night and assigned seating.



Accommodation

All Cabins & Staterooms feature private ensuites and floor to ceiling windows opening onto the outside deck.



Deluxe Stateroom (17)

Located on the Upper Deck, these staterooms offer extraordinary comfort in shipboard accommodation. Seven (7) have a queen bed and ten (10) have a queen bed and ten (10) have twin beds. Three have an additional bed.



Stateroom (31)

Located on the Upper and Promenade Decks these staterooms are splendidly appointed. Nine (9) have a double bed, and twenty two (22) have twins beds. of which twenty convert to a kingsize bed. Seven have an additional berth.



Cabin (12)

Most of these bright cabins are forward on the Main Deck. Each cabin has a comfortable upper and lower berth in true nautical style. Four have one additional berth and two have two additional berths.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 - SATURDAY:

"Ni sa Bula" is "welcome" in Fiji, as you board Reef Escape for your island adventure. Set sail into a Fijian sunset as we cruise to Malolo and enjoy a refreshing swim in the bay, bon voyage cocktails in the Piano Lounge or relax before this evenings Welcome Dinner.


DAY 2 - SUNDAY:

Todays destination is the birthplace of Fijian culture - legendary Vanua Levu - "The Sacred Island" - and witness the Sevusevu Ceremony at the Sacred Island caves. Theres time for a swim, snorkel, dive or spectacular reef viewing from the glass-bottom boat before a tropical island buffet luncheon on the Sun Deck. Cruise to Naviti Island and spend a leisurely afternoon swimming in a idyllic bay. Tonight enjoy a sunset cocktail before the gala Captains Dinner Dance, with special Fijian entertainment.


DAY 3 - MONDAY:

This is your opportunity to experience a timeless Fijian Island culture. Witness traditional art and weaving, cruise the scenic palm-fringed Naviti Channels to Waya Island and discover a remote village shell market. Relax in the congenial atmosphere, borne from lazy sun-drenched days and warm tropical nights. After lunch cruise to neighboring Waya Sewa Island, to the tiny village of Namara and experience a lifestyle far removed from 20th Century technology. After the Welcome Ceremony the local children guide you on a tour of the village school and handicraft market. This is the real Fiji. Tonight the warm sands beckon you for a romantic island night on the shores of the South Pacific. Enjoy a moonlit dinner on the beach, to the mystic drums and ceremony of the "Meke" dance.


DAY 4 - TUESDAY
Enjoy breakfast as we cruise back to Denarau Marina. Disembark 9:00am with a special "Isa Lei" farewell from Reef Escape.

DAY 1 - TUESDAY:

Beautiful bays and uncrowded sandy beaches await you, on your voyage to the spectacular "Tobu Karakawa Blue Lagoon Sacred Caves". Reef Escape sets sail for Sunset Bay on Malolo Island for an afternoon swim and Welcome Dinner celebration.


DAY 2 - WEDNESDAY

Enjoy the luxury of the Ships Lounges as we cruise to reef-fringed Yaqeta Island stopping for a morning swim in a palm-fringed bay. Savour the bounty of a tropical lunch as we journey to the spectacular Yasawa Island Group. Here is beauty in its original state where you can bask in aquamarine waters, and stroll secluded beaches a Vawa Bay. This evening youre invited to join the games and festivities of Pacific Island Night.


DAY 3 - THURSDAY

This morning discover the legendary grandeur of the Yasawa Islands at your own pace. Join the watersports, snorkel, dive, swim or explore nearby Vaturua and Vawa Islands. This afternoon is your opportunity to explore the sacred limestone underwater caves of Sawa I lau and swim in the fabled Tobu Karakawa (Blue Lagoon). A Lovo Feast and traditional "Meke dance", hosted by the local village will complete your day in paradise.


DAY 4 - FRIDAY:

This morning cruise through the scenic Southern Yasawa Islands. Our first stop is the sheltered anchorage of Matacawalevu for our customary morning swim before a sumptuous luncheon featuring fresh local seafood and island delicacies. This afternoon cruise through the palm-fringed Naviti Channels to Nalauwaki Bay on Waya Island and join our beach games including volleyball or discover the kaleidoscope of tropical fish on the nearby reef. This evening youre invited to the gala Captain's Dinner Dance.


DAY 5 - SATURDAY:

Enjoy breakfast as we cruise back to Denarau Marina. Disembark 9:00am with a special "Isa Lei" farewell.

Commissioned as the official Vice-Regal yacht, "RaMarama" is named after the famous 'war canoe of Ratu Seru Cakobau, the paramount Chief who ceded Fiji to the British Crown in 1874.
